Jed Douglas

Jed Douglas focuses his law practice on serious personal injury cases, specializing in mass torts, with a focus on pharmaceutical claims and product liability. Jed aims to be a caring and responsive advocate for those who have been suffered serious injuries, including cancers, through the fault of others.

Born and raised in southern Georgia, Jed attended Clinch County High School in Homerville, where he graduated as the Class Valedictorian in 2000.  He attended the University of Georgia, majoring in Political Science, and graduated with High Honors in 2003.  While at UGA, Jed was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.  Jed went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law in 2008, where he served as a Managing Editor of the Alaska Law Review and completed an externship with Legal Aid of Durham, North Carolina.

After graduation from law school, Jed served as a Law Clerk for a Federal Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia in Atlanta.  Since completion of his clerkship, Jed has served plaintiffs in serious personal injury cases, helping to obtain millions of dollars for deserving clients.

As a professional, Jed was selected as a Rising Star in 2018 by Super Lawyers.  Jed has been active in the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, where he graduated from its inaugural L.E.A.D. class in 2014, whose purpose is to train and equip graduates to serve in future leadership roles in both GTLA and their communities.  Jed also graduated from the State Bar of Georgia’s Young Lawyers Division Leadership Academy in 2015.  In his community, Jed has served as President of his local Chamber of Commerce, President of a Lions Club, and on the Vestry of his Episcopal Church.

In addition to his professional and community involvement, Jed loves to spend time with his wife, Martha, his sons, Jude and Frank, and his two dogs, Lucy and Pappy.  He is an avid Duke Blue Devils basketball fan and Georgia Bulldogs football fan.
