William Parker of CSS firm has filed a lawsuit on behalf of Rafael Rios due to significant personal injuries sustained in the canopy walk bridge collapse on December 19, 2008 at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. The canopy walk was designed as a 40 foot high elevated concrete walkway to allow visitors to view the garden from the treetops. During construction, the canopy walk collapsed, dropping workers up to 30-40 feet, and resulting in the death of one worker and significant injuries to 18 other workers. The case was filed in the State Court of Fulton County, Georgia against numerous defendants.
