General Job Requirements include:

• College Degree or Paralegal Certificate
• 2+ years of experience as litigation paralegal in area of medical malpractice or personal injury litigation
• Must be fluent in all Online Court E-Filing Systems in the State of Georgia
• Must be familiar with the civil litigation process from case filing, discovery, motions and trial
• Excellent Communications Skills
• Proficient in Adobe, Excel, Word and Internet/Social Media Research

General Job Duties include:

• Field “Intake” Calls for Potential New Cases
• Manage Internal Filing System for both Litigation and Pre-Litigation
• Filing of All Pleadings and Motions for Ongoing Litigation through the Court E-Filing System
• Assistance with Written Discovery and Deposition Preparation/Arrangements
• Assistance with Medical Records Requests and Organization
• Assistance with Liens and Subrogation Claims from Health Insurance Providers
• Maintain Communication with Clients, Courts,  Experts, Medical Providers, and Opposing Counsel
