Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Kizzie graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications.
Before her move to Atlanta, Georgia in 2018, Kizzie worked as a freelance reporter for various publications. She also worked as a case manager in the field of product liability where she dealt with faulty products such as transvaginal mesh. When she’s not working, Kizzie enjoys writing, keeping up with the news, traveling, and finding ways to help others.
